Quiet Familiar is an original mixed-media ceramic piece centred around a watchful black cat surrounded by preserved flowers, delicate botanicals, vintage postage imagery and a butterfly caught among the layers.

Around its neck hangs a tiny pendant—a little touch that makes this mysterious wanderer feel less like a visitor and more like a companion with a story of its own.

The words “Not all who wander are lost” complete the piece, celebrating curiosity, independence and those who choose to follow a path entirely their own.

Each element is arranged by hand on a ceramic dish and sealed beneath a glossy resin finish, preserving the natural botanicals while creating beautiful depth throughout the artwork.
