There are moments when the world finally goes quiet.

A Quiet Cup is an original mixed-media ceramic piece built in layers of imagery, texture and fragments of thought. A solitary cup rests among timeworn papers and florals, while a butterfly and antique clock hover within the composition—a small meditation on time, stillness, and the beauty of allowing yourself to simply stop.

Across the piece, the words “tranquil moments are worth every minute” quietly tie the story together.

Each element has been arranged by hand upon a ceramic dish and sealed beneath a glossy resin finish, giving the artwork beautiful depth and dimension while preserving the layered details beneath.
