A Quiet Heart - #010

Sometimes the heart needs permission to be still.

A Quiet Heart is an original mixed-media ceramic piece created with preserved flowers, aged imagery, handwritten textures and fragments of time. Deep crimson and delicate ivory blooms rest against layers of weathered paper, while an antique clock disappears quietly into the background.

At its centre, two simple words remain:

Be still.

A reminder that not every moment needs to be filled, fixed or hurried. Sometimes there is beauty in simply allowing yourself—and your heart—to rest.

Each element is arranged by hand on a heart-shaped ceramic dish and sealed beneath a glossy resin finish, preserving the flowers and imagery while adding depth to the layered composition.
