Created as part of The Shape of Form Without Freedom, the original is deeply connected to my work as both an artist and an author. Pages from my first novel are physically embedded within the artwork itself, becoming part of its texture and composition and permanently binding the written story to the visual one.

The original Release is a one-of-a-kind 3 × 4 ft work created on wood canvas using acrylic medium and mixed-media elements. Its heavily layered surface gives the piece a physical depth and rawness that cannot be fully captured in reproduction.

The finished artwork is presented in a black wood gallery frame and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
