Memento Corvus is an original mixed-media ceramic piece celebrating beauty in the dark, the weathered and the often overlooked.

A black raven stands watch over an aged skull, surrounded by deep crimson roses, fragments of old script and distressed metallic detailing. Together, the raven and skull become familiar symbols of mortality and remembrance—not as something to fear, but as a reminder that beauty doesn't disappear simply because something has grown old, strange or dark.

The words “Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it” wind through the composition, inviting the viewer to look a little longer—and perhaps see something another person might miss.

Each element is arranged by hand on ceramic and sealed beneath a glossy resin finish, creating rich depth and preserving the layered imagery beneath.
